Our Mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for families with children on the autism spectrum by offering Adaptive Recreational, Arts and Sports activities for youth along with Family-centered educational and therapeutic programs.

What We Do

HubCAN is a grassroots nonprofit organization that supports families that have children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We support our families by hosting a wide variety of events at least once a month. These events provide an opportunity for children and parents to have fun and connect with other families. These events include skateboard clinics, swim clubs, bowling, and much much more!

What is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability caused by differences in the brain. People with ASD may behave, communicate, interact, and learn in ways that are different from most other people. The abilities of people with ASD can vary significantly. The term “spectrum” in ASD refers to the wide range of symptoms and severity.

ASD occurs in all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups. It is more than 4 times more common among boys than among girls.
